Biography

Courtney Mann is a personal injury lawyer who focuses her practice on helping and advocating for those that have been injured by others. Her dedication to helping others was ignited by her Mom, a longtime labor and delivery nurse. She not only taught Courtney how to decipher medical records and patient charts, but also brought her along the labor and delivery floor where she witnessed firsthand the compassion and expertise that define the quality of care that everyone deserves. Therefore, it felt like a natural fit when she chose to practice law within personal injury. Courtney’s passion for helping others is what drives her every decision, for every client. She is a firm believer that everyone deserves representation of the highest quality, and that no one suffering from injuries should have to go through the process alone.

Courtney is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice (“NCAJ”). She has dedicated her time over the last several years to NCAJ and its mission of fighting for justice and fairness for all North Carolinians by volunteering to serve in leadership within the organization. Currently, Courtney is a member/leader of the Auto Torts & Premise Liability section, the Women’s Caucus, and serves on the Education committee and the DE&I committee. Courtney is also active within NCAJ’s first legislative program, wherein members of the organization are leading the charge to make connections and build relationships with our Legislators in Raleigh. She is honored to have been selected as a member of the inaugural class of the NCAJ Next Leadership Program, 2021-2022. Courtney also spends time teaching Continuing Learning Education courses on Health Insurance Liens and Subrogation rights with NCAJ. She has been selected to the North Carolina Super Lawyers® Rising Star list for 2022, 2023, and 2024, along with receiving recognition in the fourth edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for 2024.

Courtney is originally from Florida, where she attended the University of Central Florida majoring in Legal Studies with a minor in Political Science. Courtney decided to relocate to her Mom’s home state of North Carolina, where she earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Charlotte School of Law. In her free time, Courtney can be found trying a new restaurant or wine bar, all while attempting to discover more of North Carolina’s coast. She is also very passionate about experiencing new cultures and their uniquely amazing traditions in all the corners of the world.
