Courtney Mann

“I’ve always known that I wanted to be a lawyer. The reason I became a personal injury lawyer was to help people navigate some of their most difficult moments and provide them with comfort and compassion. It is a rewarding experience when you can step into a difficult situation and walk someone through it, answer their questions, be the voice of reason, and achieve for them the best possible outcome.”

– Courtney Mann

Biography

Courtney Mann is a personal injury lawyer who has focused her practice on helping and advocating for those that have been injured by others. Courtney spent her teen years in Tampa, Florida before attending the University of Central Florida, where she majored in Legal Studies and minored in Political Science. Courtney decided to return to her mom’s home state of North Carolina, where she earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Charlotte School of Law.

Growing up with a nurse for a mother who taught her how to read medical records and brought her to the labor and delivery floor often, Courtney was always interested in the medical field. Therefore, it felt like a natural fit when she decided to focus her practice within personal injury. Courtney’s passion for helping others is what drives her every decision, for every client. She is a firm believer that everyone deserves representation of the highest quality, and that no one suffering from injuries should have to go through the process alone.

Courtney is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice (“NCAJ”). She has dedicated her time over the last several years to NCAJ and its mission of fighting for justice and fairness for all North Carolinians by volunteering to serve on multiple committees and projects. Currently, Courtney is a member of the Auto Torts & Premise Liability section, Women’s Caucus, and the New Lawyers Division. She is honored to have been selected as a member of the inaugural class of the NCAJ Next Leadership Program, 2021-2022. Courtney also spends time teaching Continuing Learning Education courses on Health Insurance Liens and Subrogation rights with NCAJ. She has been selected to the North Carolina Super Lawyers® Rising Star list for 2022, 2023, and 2024, along with receiving recognition in the fourth edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for 2024.

In her free time, Courtney can be found trying a new restaurant or wine bar while discovering more of North Carolina. She is also very passionate about experiencing new cultures and their uniquely amazing food and traditions in all the corners of the world.
